Roopi makes it easy to upload an invoice and start getting paid—fast. Instead of filling out long forms, you’ll simply talk to Roopi like you would a smart assistant.

👋 Step-by-Step: Using Ask Roopi to Upload

  1. Click the purple “Ask Roopi” button at the top of the page.

  2. You’ll see a welcome message:

    Hi, 👋 Roopi here. I can't wait to get you paid. 💰 Drop (or click to select) a PDF invoice, or just tell me the details.

    or

    Message Roopi about your invoices, payments, or upload a PDF.

  3. Choose your preferred method:

    • Upload a PDF: Drag & drop or click "+" to upload.

  • Sync QuickBooks (recommended):

    • Go to Integrations on the left side bar.

    • Click Connect QuickBooks

    • Sign in to your QuickBooks account

    • Authorize Roopi to access invoice data

  • Type the details manually: Just say something like “I need to get $300 from Lumen Media LLC, due July 15.”

🤖 What Roopi Does Next

Once uploaded or described, Roopi will:

  • Scan your file (if uploaded) to extract invoice details: amount, client name, due date, etc.

  • Ask you to confirm or adjust any extracted info.

  • Save the invoice and queue it up for automated follow-up messaging.

📝 Upload Tips

  • Use clean, legible PDFs—no blurry photos or handwritten invoices

  • Include debtor/client name, amount due, and due date

  • Screenshots from chats or apps like WhatsApp are not recommended

🎯 After Upload Your invoice will show up in the Invoices tab with real-time status, activity logs, and links to take further action. Roopi will begin messaging automatically based on your settings.
