# How to Send a Contract for Signature

Once your contract is ready in Signfeld, sending it out for signatures is quick, guided, and customizable. Here's how to finalize and send your packet with confidence.

### ✅ Before You Send: Final Checks

1. **Review the Document**

* Make sure the contract content looks good and includes any required clauses or details.
* You can edit the text directly in the builder window.
2. **Add Signature Fields**

* Use the right-hand "Add Elements" panel to place /signature fields for each signer.
* Signature fields must be added before clicking Send — this ensures each recipient knows exactly where to sign.
2. **Check Signers**

* Confirm all necessary signers are listed under the Signers section.
* You can add or remove signers at any time before sending.

### 📤 Sending the Contract

When everything’s in place:

1. **Click the Purple Send Icon (top right).**

* This opens the Send Packet modal.
2. **Customize the Delivery Message**

* In the Email tab, edit the subject and message that signers will receive.
* You can personalize the text with dynamic fields like \[Signer].
3. **Optional: Add SMS Delivery**

* Click the SMS tab if you'd like to notify signers via text message as well.
4. **Set Signer Order**

* In the Signer Order tab, choose whether recipients should sign in a specific sequence or all at once
When ready, hit the purple **Send button** to deliver the packet.
